Ideal Hotels for Meetings

Central Jersey boasts more than 50 hotels, many of which have stunning meeting spaces for corporate or group activities. These hotels support groups of various capacities, and some offer additional amenities, such as on-site dining. The following are just some of the hotels you may consider for group events:
  • Comfort Suites of North Brunswick: For those hosting smaller events, this hotel has a meeting room for groups of 30 or fewer people.
  • Crowne Plaza Hotel Edison: A 12,000-sq-ft meeting and banquet space enables people to host 200 individuals for social events and 300 for conferences.
  • DoubleTree by Hilton Somerset: Besides 25,000-sq-ft of meeting space, this hotel has 20 conference rooms, a grand ballroom, and a meeting center approved by the International Association of Conference Centers (IACC).
  • Holiday Inn Princeton: This hotel offers 2,766 sq ft of flexible meeting room for conferences. It also has four separate rooms that accommodate up to 125 people.
  • Hyatt Regency Hotel, New Brunswick: In addition to 33,000 sq ft of meeting space and 4,000 sq ft of pre-function area, this lodge features the 9,600-sq-ft Regency Ballroom.
  • Hilton Garden Inn, Edison: This hotel has a grand ballroom that fits 250 people and a junior ballroom that holds 150 individuals. It also provides on-site catering.
  • Residence Inn – Woodbridge Edison/Raritan Center: Perfect for intimate events, this lodge has space for up to 30 people and offers the most updated AV technology.
  • Crowne Plaza Princeton – Conference Center: One of the more versatile options, this conference center has 60,000 sq ft of meeting space, 54 event rooms, and a 360-seat amphitheater.
  • The Heldrich Hotel: Guests have access to 25,000 sq ft of meeting space and a 7,370-sq-ft ballroom for formal events.
  • Courtyard Marriot, Edison – Woodbridge: This hotel has three meeting rooms, each with a maximum capacity of 50 people.
  • Clarion Hotel/Palmer Inn: This lodging choice includes a meeting space that fits up to 196 people.
  • Hampton Inn – South Plainfield: At this hotel, guests may use a flexible meeting space to host a conference with up to 60 people. Catering is also available for group events.

Alternative Venues for Events

While Central Jersey offers many diverse hotels for group activities, they are not the only option for hosting events. PNC Bank Arts Center (Holmdel, NJ)

The most prestigious amphitheater in the area, PNC Bank Arts Center features numerous shows from some of the biggest musicians. Altogether, it can accommodate 17,500 people — 7,000 in the seating section and 10,500 in the lawn area.

Somerset Patriots (Bridgewater Township, NJ)

Bring your group together to see a minor league baseball game by visiting the Somerset Patriots at TD Bank Ballpark. It offers multiple areas for hosting events and discounts on large ticket purchases to make planning a group outing easy.

iPlay America (Freehold, NJ)

iPlay America is New Jersey’s largest indoor amusement park and is home to countless rides and arcade games. At 150,000 sq ft, it makes the perfect venue for parties and corporate groups of any size.
