The Cranburry Museum

Description:

The Cranbury Museum was established by the Cranbury Historical and Preservation Society in 1972 and is located in the c. 1834 Dr. Garrett P. Voorhees House. The building was completely restored by volunteers and features many original architectural elements, including pumpkin pine floors, early glass windows and original paint.

The Cranbury History Center

Description:

The Cranbury History Center, located in the heart of Cranbury's State and National Register-listed Historic Districts, is housed in the c. 1860 Gristmiller's House, which was restored with support from the New Jersey Historic Trust, local businesses, volunteers and friends in 1993.

The Cranbury Inn

Description:

The Cranbury Inn originated as a stagecoach stop in the mid 1700s, established to offer food and drink to travelers passing through the area. The present building comprises two of the three original taverns that were on this site, dating from mid to late 1700s.

East Brunswick Museum

Description:

Located in the heart of the Old Bridge Historic District which contains 18th and 19th century buildings, the museum is housed in the former Simpson Methodist Church, built in 1862. The museum's collection includes a Victorian parlor, antique kitchen tools, farm equipment, sewing implements, and New Jersey Governor Hoffman's miniature elephant collection.
