Official Rules

1. Sponsor.

The Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce and Convention & Visitors Bureau 1 Distribution Way, Monmouth Junction, NJ 08852.

2. “Win a Weekend” promotion Period. The “Win a Weekend” promotion beings on November. 15, 2007 at 1:00 pm and will be open through December 31, 2007 at 11:59 pm. No entries will be accepted before or after the “Win a Weekend” promotion Period.

3. To Enter.

Enter the Virtual Door Prize “Win a Weekend” promotion by accessing www.gocentraljersey.com and signing up through the mailing list portal. No purchase necessary to enter or win. You may elect not to be included on our mailing list. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. Automated or computer generated entries or mechanical reproductions are prohibited, and any use of automated devices or mechanical reproductions will cause disqualification. LIMIT: ONE ENTRY (PER GIVEAWAY) PER PERSON, HOUSEHOLD, FAMILY AND/OR E-MAIL ADDRESS. Sponsor and its advertising and promotions agencies are not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, illegible, mutilated, inaccurate, misdirected, stolen or postage due entries or mail, or for any problems of any kind whether mechanical, human or electronic, including, but not limited to, computer, telephone, cable, network, satellite, electronic or Internet hardware or software malfunctions, failures, connections, availability or garbled or jumbled transmissions, or service provider/Internet/web site/use net accessibility or availability, traffic congestion, or unauthorized human intervention. Sponsor reserves the right to suspend or terminate any Giveaway in the event of any such problem. Giveaway entries are the property of Sponsor. E-MAIL CHANGE OF ADDRESS POLICY: It is your sole responsibility to notify Sponsor in writing if you change your e-mail address. (To do so: write to: Melanie@mcrcc.org).

4. Prizes.

A total of two (3) prizes will be awarded.  Win a Weekend package to include: A free, one-night stay at a local hotel, a dinner coupon for a local restaurant, and two theatre tickets. Each package is carefully chosen from our pool of donor-sponsors to create a special Weekend Getaway in the regional Middlesex County area. NO SUBSTITUTIONS. Each certificate/vendor will have its own restrictions. Certain black out dates do apply. Total approximate retail value can be between $200-$1,000.  If more prizes become available during the “Win a Weekend’ promotion, more prizes may be awarded.

5. Drawing; Odds of Winning:

Prize winners from all entries received by the November 15, 2007 deadline will be selected in random drawings to take place on or before January 2, 2008 at 1 Distribution Way, Monmouth Junction. There will be a separate drawing for each Giveaway. For each Giveaway, odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received and prizes available.

6. Awarding of Prizes.

Winners of the Giveaway will be notified by e-mail (the "Notification") within 15 days of the drawing. Winners without an email address will be notified via postal mail at the address provided in their entries. Winners will be required to complete a registration form, which may include an online Affidavit of Eligibility and, where lawful, a Liability/Publicity Release. Sponsor may require each winner to provide proof that he or she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address used to enter the Giveaway. In the event of a dispute regarding an online submission, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder. "Authorized account holder" means the natural person who is assigned to an e-mail address by an Internet access provider, online service provider, or organization (e.g., business, educational, institutional) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with such e-mail address. By completing the affidavit and release, the winners grant permission to the use of their names and addresses for advertising and promotional purposes for this and similar promotions without additional compensation unless required by law. Prizes will be awarded within 30 days after receipt of all online registration forms. Prizes are not transferable. Non-compliance with these Official Rules or Terms of Service or undeliverable notification may result in disqualification and selection of an alternate winner.

7. Eligibility.

VOID WHERE PROHIBITED. To enter, you must be over 18 years old at date of entry. Paid employees of Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce and Convention & Visitors Bureau, and members of their immediate family are not eligible. All applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. MCRCC Volunteers, Board Members, vendors, etc. are eligible.

8. Conditions.

This virtual door prize “Win a Weekend” promotion is governed by these Official Rules. By participating, entrants agree to these Official Rules and understand that all decisions regarding the promotion including, but not limited to, winner selection, will be made by Sponsor, whose decisions shall be final and binding in all respects. Sponsor is not responsible for (i) lost, late, delayed, misdirected, unintelligible, incomplete or postage due mail or electronic mail; (ii) telephone, electronic, hardware or software program, network, Internet or computer malfunctions, failures, or difficulties; (iii) errors in transmission; (iv) any condition caused by events beyond the control of the Sponsor which may cause the Giveaway to be disrupted or misused; or (v) any inaccurate information caused by any reason, including, without limitation, the www.gocentraljersey.com website, promotion website users, equipment, or human or technical errors relating to the submission of entries. By participating in the promotion, you agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor, its clients, and promotional and advertising agencies, the entities whose names or brands appear in any Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce and Convention & Visitors Bureau promotion, and all of their respective officers, directors, shareholders, employees, affiliates, representatives and agents from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims, actions and proceedings of any kind arising out of or relating to the Giveaway or resulting from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize, including, without limitation, personal injuries, death, and property damage, and any claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy. IN NO EVENT WILL SPONSOR, ITS CLIENTS, PROMOTIONAL AND ADVERTISING AGENCIES, THE ENTITIES WHOSE NAMES OR BRANDS APPEAR IN ANY Middlesex County Regional Chamber of Commerce and Convention & Visitors Bureau promotion, OR ANY OF THEIR RESPECTIVE OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, SHAREHOLDERS, EMPLOYEES, AFFILIATES, REPRESENTATIVES AND AGENTS BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO YOUR USE OF THE GIVEAWAY WEB SITE OR THE DOWNLOADING FROM AND/OR PRINTING MATERIAL DOWNLOADED FROM THE GIVEAWAY WEB SITE. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, SPONSORS MAKE NO WARRANTY, REPRESENTATION, OR GUARANTEE, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, IN FACT OR IN LAW, RELATIVE TO THE USE AND ENJOYMENT OF ANY OF THE PRIZES, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, THEIR QUALITY, MERCHANTABILITY, OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. SOME JURISDICTIONS MAY NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
